Marie-Victoire Winckler

Marie-Victoire presents a collection of illuminated totems.After studying Fine Arts in France and in Milan, Marie-Victoire Winckler began her career in Italy as a consultant for Cassina, a prestigious furniture designer. In 2008, she joined Patricia Urquiola’s studio in Milan, before moving to Paris in 2011 to join India Mahdavi’s studio, two major figures in contemporary design. With them, she worked on private homes, hotels, and restaurants such as e Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona, the Cloître in Arles,  and the Sketch in London. Over the years, her creative language evolved, and she began imagining objects rooted in traditional techniques and craftsmanship. In 2016, she opened her own design studio in Paris to create objects that combine contemporary design with traditional craft techniques.
